Is our country completly gone?

It has been a while since my last post, and for that I apologize. I couldn't let another day pass without voicing the disgust that has taken place in both the House and the Senate. Last nights cloture vote was a disgrace to the Constitution and all the people who believe in a free America. The health care bill that is being proposed will not give people health care, but rather will force everyone to purchase it. If you do not purchase health insurance you will be fined and could possibly go to prison. Too many senators sold their souls last night - literally. They took huge pork barrel projects for their individual states. This is exactly what is needed for states to start fighting against state. I do not want my taxes increased so someone in Nebraska can have reduced Medicare rates.

Actions such as these are not only not fair, but they are also unconstitutional. The Obama administration is turning our country into a socialist nation and the majority of Americans are letting it happen. The government will control if you or I qualify to receive medical attention. Our taxes are going to increase, our freedoms erased and all under the guise of helping to insure the poor. It doesn't insure the poor - it makes it worse for everyone.

Sept. 11th

It is early on this September 11th morning and I just finished processing an order for a lady in Missouri. As I was printing out the order form and shipping information I noticed that the date had changed to September 11th. I believe that this day forever changed the lives of many Americans, especially mine. It woke Americans up from our stupor of thought, and turned our hearts back to our Founding Principles and our Creator. Let us all remember what we stand for and remember those who have lost their lives in the battle for Freedom. God Bless America and God Bless the Constitution of this great land.

Constitution Car Magnets

I wanted to give an update on the sale of the Constitution Car Magnets. We have started selling them to some larger establishments that are now reselling them! We have had a some large orders from gas stations and are happy about the progress we are making. It seems that the more our government messes with our Constitutional Freedoms, the more magnets we sell.

We are glad we can do our part to help support those fighting for our Freedoms! God Bless America.

Another State - Nebraska

Nebraska now takes on the challenge! Here is another state that is telling the federal government to take a step back and take your hands out of our state. This is a growing trend with states across the union. What is it going to take for the feds to realize that they have over stepped their bounds? Do they seriously not understand why we have a Constitution? The Constitution gives us the rights to govern our states how we deem fit.

Gov. Sarah Palin just signed Joint House Resolution 27 which states that Alaska is a sovereign state. It is only a matter of time before we either revert back to the Constitution as a whole and the fed abides by it, or each state will break away from the union. It is only a matter of time...

The Federal Reserve Bank - which is not a part of the Federal government has no right to issue our currency - is going to be audited and eventually shut down. That will be a good thing for our country. We need to return to where we came from and stop living a lie.

4th of July

The 4th of July was a great day for our country to reflect on the Liberties we enjoy. The day was spent with family, friends, food and of course fireworks. May we all reflect on the blessing that it is to live in this great country, and for the sacrifices of all those men and women who have shed their blood for our Freedom!

White House announces new lighting standards

So when the Founding Fathers adopted the new Constitution did they intend for that governing document dictate every aspect of our lives? Does it state anywhere in that document what our electrical standards should be?

The Obama Administration has issued new energy standards for our refrigerators, now our light bulbs and lamps? Don't they have more important things to worry about than the 60w bulb I put in my lamp at home? I believe that they do. Maybe if our government spent more time focusing on what they should be doing versus pushing their own agendas through, we wouldn't be in this mess.

This is just another ridiculous use of tax payer dollars funding our own demise.

There have been a lot of scandals and affairs lately in the political world. And it doesn't matter if you are are democrat or a republican, it knows no political lines. Is the reason our country is in shambles because of our political leaders inability to keep virtuous? If we as a country are to overcome the tyranny that is oppressing us, then we do need good men and women who will fear God and rule by the dictates of the Constitution; not their own pants!

Chick Heileson has announced he is running!

Chick Heileson has made the initial announcement that he is running for Congress this next election cycle. There will be an announcement party at the Red Lion in Idaho Falls, ID tomorrow Wednesday June 24th at noon, and I plan on being there. Chick is someone who understands the Constitution and will always vote the way the Founding Fathers intended. We are no longer following the statues established with the Constitution and can no longer be considered a representative republic and are closing in on socialism. We as a free society need people like Chick to stand up for our freedoms and restore our country to our founding principles.

Group Pushing to Secede Vermont From Union

Glenn Beck recently interviewed Thomas Naylor who is the Founder of the group Second Vermont Republic. Does each state need to secede from the Union in order for us to understand the importance of this nation? If our country continues on the path of self destruction then each state will become their own republic. I know for one that the citizens of Idaho or South Dakota do not want to pay for the turmoil that is happening with the state budget of California. What happens if California declares bankruptcy?

Seceding is growing in the political realm. More and more states are having this issue come up - Texas, Montana, Vermont, who's next. In the next 10-15 years will the United States no longer geographically exist as we know it? I don't know the answer, but I do know that if we as the citizens and our elected officials don't fall back to the Constitution we will no longer survive as a unified nation.

Participate in politics

Thomas Jefferson stated, "We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate." So for those of you who are complaining about what is happening in our country, but elect not to participate, you have brought this upon yourselves.

In the next few days there is going to be an announcement of an individual we have been following stating that he will be running for a political office. We will cover his announcement and then his progress through the election. He is someone who has decided that he is going to be in the majority who participates. We should all participate! Get involved; again it doesn't matter what your political affiliation - just get out there and support a cause. Don't sit idly by, because if you do, you will not like the outcome.

Where we will not donate our money

A couple of days ago I received an email on our magnet website asking if we would donate money to them. The question was "will you give me money if I shave my head and join the Aryan Nation?"

I was so blown away by this comment. To answer your question, no. I did not give this person the satisfaction of replying direction to them. No! That is not something that we are involved in, and believe that they are as much of a terrorist group as any other; trying to overthrow our freedoms.

The freedoms of this nation are afforded to everyone, no matter if you are black, white, green, republican, democrat, libertarian, Lutheran, Methodist, an atheist, a pessimist, straight, or lesbian. We as a group of individuals might not see eye-to-eye on every issue, and may disagree about some issues; however, we are all Americans. I see the aryan nation as a hate group. They are not fighting for the same reasons we are. We live in a free society full of diversity and culture. Because of our beliefs we afford everyone the same rights to and freedoms no matter who they are.

So again, NO we will not donate any money to you to support a hate group.

We are a Christian Nation!

This is a Christian Nation. When people say "God bless America" or "In God we Trust" that should mean something. The fact that it is even being questioned and addressed by the President (yes I will capitalize the office of President of the United States, no matter who is holding the office) that we are not a Christian Nation to the Muslim world is absurd. Our country was founded upon these principles. God himself has blessed us with prosperity, peace and abundance and this is how we repay Him for granting us the ability to live in this free land. If the vocal minority continues to raise hell over this issue, then it will be all of us who will suffer from a just God. The majority needs to stand up and continue to offer thanksgivings for our many blessings of being a free society. If the majority just sits back and allows this to happen, then whatever happens to our great country is deserved.

What is "good government?"

Thomas Jefferson stated "A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."

A good government is one that lets the working man/woman earn an honest wage and keep that money. If we as a country want to return to prosperity, then cut our taxes. By doing so companies would start to hire again and more people would be employed. A good government is a frugal government.

The Fed would be shut down if audited

Interesting piece on CNBC. With an over inflated balance sheet and little capital, the federal reserve would be shut down if it were audited, and held to the same standards of other financial institutions. Just one more reason to audit the feds. It is unconstitutional to have a centralized banking system, the IRS, etc. Our country would be so much better off if we returned to the very core that established our Republic.

Is anyone minding the store at the Federal Reserve

This is an absolute disgrace. The Inspector General of the United States of America skirts the issue about what has happened to our tax dollars. If this were any other administration she would have been thrown out of Washington, she is probably seen as a hero amongst the other Constitution bashing government officials. She should be fired. Who is making sure that the Federal Reserve is not stealing our money? Oh...um...nobody. That's right, nobody.

2nd Amendment

There has been a lot of talking going on lately about the 2nd Amendment. This happened when Bill Clinton was elected as well. Is President Obama going to take away our guns, I'm not sure; he might try. The 2nd Amendment is the part of the Bill of Rights that protects our rights to keep and bear arms from infringement by the federal government. This is an important article in the Constitution.

George Washington said "Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth." We as a free society can keep the federal government in check so long as we have firearms. If the federal government takes away that right, then we can no longer defend ourselves; this is when national socialism would take over. The National Socialists party is what killed 6million Jews during WWII. Do we really want a repeat of that? No. Then we must continue to defend our right to bear arms. Even if you aren't a gun owner that doesn't mean that you shouldn't voice your opinion to your elected representatives. You can thank a very wise group of men, and our God, for helping the people keep the government in check with the 2nd Amendment.

Our Goal - 100k Constitution Car Magnets

I guess it would be good to let everyone know what our goal is. We plan on selling 100,000 of our Constitution Car Magnets! We that money we will then be able to support candidates during the next election (2010) who support the Constitution. We will also be able to send 100s of lbs. of supplies to our troops who are fighting for our freedoms. Also, we will be able to purchase 1000s of pocket Constitutions for our schools. This will enable us to truly educate our children and help them understand what it means to be an American.

100,000 Car Magnets does seem like a lot right now, but I am sure by the next election that we can reach our goal and help educate along the way.

Audit the Feds

Ron Paul is sponsoring a bill right now in Congress (HR 1207) which would:
* Require the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to perform a complete audit of the FED by 2010.
*Reveal the details of agreements the Fed has made with foreign central banks and governments.
*Show which banks and Wall Street firms have received our money from the Fed.

The first part in stopping the federal reserve bank is educating everyone about it's unconstitutional powers. Auditing them will show the people that their government has lied to them.

Marvin "Chick" Heileson

On Wednesday night I had the great opportunity of listening to a gentleman by the name of Marvin "Chick" Heileson. He is a great supporter of the Constitution and a member of the John Birch Society. He understands the Constitution and gave a great presentation on the Constitution and what we need to do in order to save that great document and preserve our freedoms. He has put together an exploratory committee and we are proud to say that we will fully support his run for Congress. We will continue to update you on the progress that Chick is making up to election day, and hopefully track his congressional career.

US "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world"

That is what Barack Hussein Obama has stated. I have no prejudices as to what an individuals' religion is; however, the United States was founded on principles of Christianity and remains a God fearing people. For the President of the United States to say that we are no longer a Christen nation just a few short weeks ago, and now this. What is his agenda? He does not believe in following the Constitution and now has disregarded the Founding Fathers and the creation of this nation as well.

But if we stand in opposition to our President then we are not being patriotic, right? Wrong. As long as this nation still stands we have our Freedom of Speech. That Freedom was given to us by the spilling of much blood. We need to continue to cherish what little freedom and liberty we have left before it is all gone.

Listen up America. We need to return to the basics. The basics of Life. The basics of Liberty. The basics of the pursuit of happiness. We are a Christian nation, founded on Christian principles, act like it. Support Liberty!

Thank our Troops

I encourage everyone to visit the Center For Individual Freedom's website and send a thank you note to our troops. This is a simple gesture that allows you to tell them how much we as American citizens appreciate their dedicated sacrifices in allowing us to live in this great country. We love this country and grateful to the men and women who sacrifice so much for it. May God bless all of our troops with safety and peace.

'American descent into Marxism happening with breakneck speed'

It is sad when a Russian paper has to tell the United States what is going on. But I believe what the author is stating is true. Our society has become dumb, we are more concerned about our celebrities and reality TV than we do about the new laws that are being introduced in Congress. When is America going to wake up and realize what is going on? There are a few organizations who are starting to take a stand, and more and more individuals are now realizing that they must stand up for their own Liberty! If they don't stand up for their own Liberty, then who will? Does the current President have your best interest in mind? No.

What about all of the companies that will be owned by our government. AIG, GM, next is Citigroup. So let me get this straight, the government owns a insurance company, a car company and will most likely soon own a bank. Does that mean that they are going to force us to purchase our life insurance through them, drive a poorly designed and engineered vehicle from them and now do our banking with them? When is it going to stop? I don't think anytime soon. We here at WeThePeople believe that our voice needs to become louder to make any impact at all. We are so far down the path that it is going to take more voices than we currently have.

Probing America

I wanted to say thanks today to Mark Richardson, host of Probing America on News Talk AM690/1260. As I was listening this morning I heard our magnets mentioned and I got excited. I also had a few people come up to me and tell me that they had heard it on the air this morning. Mark has always stood up for the values that the Constitution holds dear and we are thankful for his support. We are also thankful for the many years of service that his co-host Mel Richardson gave to our beautiful state of Idaho.

Citizens Community Bank BBQ

Just wanted to let everyone know that today Citizens Community Bank (Southeast Idaho) is having a BBQ to help raise money for care packages. This will be at all of their 5 locations. We have put out a stack of magnets at their Idaho Falls - Eastside branch. We feel that this will be a great way to get our message out. The National Guard will be doing the grilling. So make sure that you stop by one of their locations. I will take some pictures later on today so everyone can see the support we are trying to rally.

We would like to thank Members Preferred Credit Union for allowing us to put our magnets out for display. They have already sold a few there, and we are encouraged by the outcome. Military Affairs Committee

We want to thank Mike McLendon at the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce who heads up the Military Affairs Committee (MAC). He has give WeThePeople an open invitation to attend their events and help raise money for the troops. This will be on of the first places that we are able to donate money to. The money will be used for various causes, and we are glad that we can help. Our neighbors, these brave men and women, are fighting for our Liberty! I just wanted to say thanks to the folks at GaragePolitics.net. They posted a link for our main site on theirs, and will be mentioning us on their radio show this week. They are a great organization for real world politics and are true defenders of freedom.

"We're (the U.S.) out of money"

That was the headline today on The Drudge Report. It is nice to know that our president has finally admitted that our country no longer has the funds to sustain us. The tax revenue from payrolls has fallen sharply and many states are facing huge budget shortfalls; much like many businesses around the country. The only problem is, is that when a business knows it doesn't have enough money to pays it's bills it reduces expenses. There might be people who are let go, benefits are taken away, but the business still survives. On the other hand we have governments who like to continue to spend when they are out of money. They believe that they can simply tax the populace and get out of the jam. There is no more money though. Finally, it has been admitted. And even with that admitance, federal spending will continue to increase until finally the tipping point has been reached.

The question is this then, "Where is the tipping point?"

Just Starting Out

Well, this is the first in hopefully many posts throughout this adventure. A friend and I have created a new company that we are hoping will generate enough funds so that we can contribute significantly to sustaining and defending our Constitution. We have been working on this for the past month and are starting to see some results. We have created a Constitution Car Magnet that we are selling for $5, and the proceeds will go to various organizations whose views align with upholding and defending our Liberty.

I just received our first radio ad that we will be running in Southeast Idaho and am very excited. I hope that this is the first in a wide range of blog posts.
