Is our country completly gone?

It has been a while since my last post, and for that I apologize. I couldn't let another day pass without voicing the disgust that has taken place in both the House and the Senate. Last nights cloture vote was a disgrace to the Constitution and all the people who believe in a free America. The health care bill that is being proposed will not give people health care, but rather will force everyone to purchase it. If you do not purchase health insurance you will be fined and could possibly go to prison. Too many senators sold their souls last night - literally. They took huge pork barrel projects for their individual states. This is exactly what is needed for states to start fighting against state. I do not want my taxes increased so someone in Nebraska can have reduced Medicare rates.

Actions such as these are not only not fair, but they are also unconstitutional. The Obama administration is turning our country into a socialist nation and the majority of Americans are letting it happen. The government will control if you or I qualify to receive medical attention. Our taxes are going to increase, our freedoms erased and all under the guise of helping to insure the poor. It doesn't insure the poor - it makes it worse for everyone.
